What's the difference between nanoplasty and traditional keratin treatments?
NanoKare Nanoplasty is a formaldehyde-free alternative to traditional keratin treatments. It focuses on internal hair repair, smoothing, and long-term hair health, rather than relying on harsh chemicals or surface coating.
How long does NanoKare Nanoplasty last?
Results can last up to 8 months, depending on hair type, natural curl pattern, lifestyle, frequency of washing, and aftercare routine. NanoKare Nanoplasty has a progressive effect, meaning results tend to improve and last longer with repeated applications.
Is Nano Kare Nanoplasty permanent?
NanoKare Nanoplasty is a semi-permanent hair smoothing treatment. It does not permanently alter the hair structure in a single application. However, due to its progressive nature, repeated treatments can lead to longer-lasting smoothness. With regular maintenance, many clients experience results that feel almost permanent in appearance over time.
Can I wash my hair after the treatment?
Yes. There is no waiting period. Hair can be washed on the same day once the treatment has been completed.
Can I style my hair after nanoplasty?
Absolutely. You can blow-dry, straighten, or curl your hair as desired. Styling does not affect the longevity or performance of the treatment.
Can I colour or bleach my hair before or after nanoplasty?
NanoKare Nanoplasty is compatible with coloured and bleached hair. For best results, we recommend colouring the hair after the nanoplasty treatment. Please note that nanoplasty may slightly lighten the hair by one to two shades.
Do I need special aftercare products?
Yes. For optimal and long-lasting results, we strongly recommend using the NanoKare aftercare range. Our aftercare products are specifically formulated to support the nanoplasty treatment, helping maintain smoothness, hydration, shine, and overall hair health. Proper aftercare significantly extends the longevity of the treatment.
What flat iron should be used during the treatment?
For best results, especially on coarse or resistant hair, we recommend using a professional flat iron with titanium plates. Consistent, high heat is essential to properly seal the nanoplasty treatment into the hair fibre.
Is nanoplasty suitable for children?
NanoKare Nanoplasty may be suitable for children aged 11 years and over, provided the hair is healthy and the treatment is performed by a trained professional. A full consultation and strand test are strongly recommended prior to treatment. Parental/guardian approval is required.
Is Nano Kare Nanoplasty safe during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
NanoKare Nanoplasty is formaldehyde-free and considered a gentler alternative to traditional hair straightening treatments.
